The O’Neil New Leaders and Laggards Review service is a source of new equity ideas for institutional clients of William O’Neil + Company. These ideas are generated through the use of proprietary screens and a broad-based review of individual Datagraphs™*. Equity ideas are selected on the basis of their "fit" to our proprietary historical models of the greatest winning stocks. These models are based upon sets of characteristics prevalent in winning stocks (the "Leaders"), and include, but are not limited to, emerging growth ideas, big-cap equity ideas, and turnaround situations. Conversely, stocks with negative characteristics (the "Laggards") are selected on the basis of a stock’s fit to our proprietary historical models of stocks that have a high probability of continued underperformance. Subscribers to the service receive a weekly publication containing Datagraphs™ and Daily Supply/Demand Analysis Graphs for every company, and Fax Alert, a facsimile transmission of any new Leader or Laggard ideas or changes to our Leader or Laggard idea lists. Performance summaries are provided weekly.
This printed service is available in different publications. The O’Neil New Leaders and Laggards Review and the O’Neil New Leaders and Laggards Large Cap Review, which focuses on the new large-cap equity ideas for our institutional investor clients.
An available add-on feature for both publications is our Custom Analytics package. This package applies fundamental and technical analysis to a unique selection of stocks, helping our clients better understand the significant movements in the market and in their portfolios. This service comprises of: Market Selected Stocks selected companies that show characteristics similar to top performing stocks of the past, and Client Selected Stocks whereby the client will be able to select up to 50 stocks (based upon their portfolio, a watch list or screen).
